On April 27, we went to the Zoo with Alissa, Will, Nate, and Sam. I sang to Jonathan the "We're going to the zoo" song and he repeated, "zoo, zoo, zoo!" April 8 - "three" So he can count "one, two, three" now, but often will still stop at two. April 10 - "grass" April 13 - "tea" He can whisper now, and it's cute. Also, "yecch" for dirt and lichen. Yesterday, April 14, was a victory in the middle of the "no" phase. He says and signs "yes!" (More)

Jonathan says, "shirt" now and yesterday and today he said "undo" when asking us to undo the highchair strap. I can now definitively say that Jonathan is running. At the Jubilee conference Sunday morning, there were long hallways to explore and he ran down them. It's a very cute toddler run, but it's definitely a run. And he swings his arms in a nice cross-pattern. (More)

Jonathan has been asking to vacuum the house all week, but I told him we had to wait until Monday. Jonathan now says "hot" at the oven, my tea, and the furnace vent (when the air turns on.) He has started signing "please." Daddy saw that one first. He also says "all right" especially when he successfully buckles the stroller or high chair buckle. (More)
