Jonathan can now open the porch door (going from inside to outside) all by himself! He was so happy with the accomplishment, he did it over and over.
Some time recently, Jonathan managed to get a whistle out of his pursed lips. I was in the kitchen and he was in the living room, heading towards me. I thought it was Jon home (really) early. He's not consistent yet, but he's still practicing.

In Dr.Seuss' Mr.Brown Can Moo, Can You? there is a part where "He can sound like a hand on a door, KNOCK, KNOCK." When I got to that part today, Jonathan got up from my lap, went to the coffee table, and knocked on it while saying "da, da." (When I spell that, it looks wrong, but the vowel sound is the same as for knock.)
