This is pretty neat.

(Thanks Stephen for finding it)

As this post begins to scroll away from the top, I finally get around to commenting...

I liked the video and hoped to find out more about how the heart pump worked - a peristaltic pump, or a little propeller, or something different again? How is it powered? How does it keep moving parts lubricated without corroding? Curious minds want to know!

But what I appreciated even more was the side effect of being directed to the blog site Stephen Altrogge posted it on. Its name sounded a bit presumptuous to me, as though they were declaring themselves the blazing center, but a few of the posts, in particular the one on being radical for Jesus, convinced me that these guys named their blog after their goal, not their status. And that they have plenty of helpful things to say about the Christian life - on winning people over, on the church being messy, on prayer, on receiving criticism, on growing beards even: you name it. It also got me reading one of the books on their list of 30 books every Christian should read (The Valley of Vision).

So, before this post scrolls away, thanks for the pointer!
