Jonathan continues to love the butterflies. We're almost finished with Van Gogh. We started some mammals, which he likes, too. He likes geography as long as I don't spend too much time on it. We finished with states a while back, did continents, and are now working on countries in Africa.
We finally reached 100 dots, and somehow he must have known we were done, because as soon as we were, he got all excited about dots! He says "dots" and likes to look at and play with the cards.

This is good, because now he likes to look at the subtraction equations. The other day, he pointed at a card and said "ny-ny." I was so excited because that was the 99 dot card! Then he pointed to 98 and said the same thing. (: But in good Institues spirit, I exclaimed over that also, and said, "yay, that's 98!" Of course it wasn't quite as spirited as my exclamation over 99, but he was happy anyway.

He also says "bits" sometimes, but usually when he asks for them it's "dots" or "butterfly" (which sounds like "buh-fy" in case you're wondering.)
