At the Shursave today, our favorite cashier, Robert, did a double take when he scanned the package of cheesecloth.

For this Thanksgiving, Aunt Nancy and I went shopping for cheesecloth to cover the turkey. We were shocked by the price (about $5/package) at Wegmans, but when we found the same price at Acme, gave up and bought it anyway. Cheesecloth shouldn't cost that much. But you have the record, for sure.

That "TX GROCERY" is the real price. Everything costs more in Philly, I think!

I just bought a package of cheesecloth for $1.69, just because I could. If I don't need it between now and next Thanksgiving, maybe I'll remember to bring it with me. :)
