Jonathan must have been reading about the Alloways in the newsletter, as he wanted to find out about the London Bridge and fell over twice today. Once with a face plant off of the couch, and another time rolled off of the bed. They were somewhat traumatic, and it seemed that he was crying because he was hurting, and not just surprised, like he sometimes has with smaller bonks.

Poor Baby! [[[Jonathan]]]

Our doctor always thought crying was a good sign after a fall -- it's when the kid didn't cry that he worried about momentary loss of consciousness. Of course it also depends on the kind of cry and how long it continues....

One can hope that now that he knows he can't fly, he will quickly learn to respect the edge of the bed/couch. Sometimes it's hard to determine the line between protecting our children from danger, and cocooning them so that they don't have a chance to learn. I'm glad you don't have tile floors!
