Sometimes I think LifeType needs a "Like" button!

Chick-fil-A love must be mostly a southern thing, like Krispy Kreme donuts. Both have fans who might be ready to revisit the Civil War rather than give them up. I was astounded to discover that there are no Chick-fil-A's (none!) in Connecticut. Ah, well, Krispy Kreme eventually made its way north; perhaps there's hope.

States without Chick-fil-A's, and most of the media, apparently, just don't get it. It's my theory that the recent kerfuffle, in which patrons lined up for hours to eat at the restaurants, had nothing to do with either homosexual marriage or freedom of speech, but everything to do with Chick-fil-A fans perceiving an attack on their own particular Traditional Values: The right to eat great chicken sandwiches. If you think the NRA gets up in arms (sorry) over threats take away our guns, you don't want to contemplate what would happen in the face of threats to take away our Spicy Chicken Biscuits!

The Krispy Kremes have been going out of business in PA.

Now that is sad to hear. :( After my first taste of Krispy Kreme, I decided that Dunkin' Donuts simply were not worth the calories. I've been known to make an exception when KK wasn't available, but that's still sad news.
