Heather and I went shopping for jeans yesterday; Heather to try to find jeans that don't have the new low-cut waist line, and me to replace some worn out pairs that have spontaneously ripped when doing various projects around the house.
I have always had trouble finding jeans that fit, apparently because my waist circumference is smaller than the length of my legs. (Although, a co-worker just mentioned it is hard to find big waists with long legs as well)
I also apparently have bigger thighs than most, that it is hard to find jeans that really tight at the top, with a small enough waist.
However, I discovered yesterday that I have joined the ranks of those whose waist is bigger than their legs. I believe my size is 35-34, although of course, they don't sell 35 waists, so I bought some 36s, and can use a belt though if I don't wear a belt and I pull hard enough, I can pull the jeans over my non-existent hips.
Additionally, now I can have room to eat more. Oh wait...
