Jon had a business-related meeting this evening, and so needed to be in to work on time today. Thus, Jonathan and I went to the midwife appointment by ourselves.
My weight gain and growth was good, still measuring big (ie, didn't slow down.) My blood pressure was the highest it's ever been (measured) in pregnancy, but we figure my driving the trip instead of relaxing in the car while Jon drove did that. It was still a normal pressure, but I usually measure on the low side. Our midwife let me listen to the heartbeat when she was done - so neat! Jonathan said he wanted to hear it, but then didn't want to put the fetoscope in his ears.

There is construction on the highway on the way - you can pray that they have paved everything by the time I'm in labor. I don't want to ride on torn up roads during labor!!

Next appointment in two weeks, and that's probably the last scheduled one!

And none of us wants to drive through construction while you're in labor....

Heather - I'll pray for you if you pray for me! We have construction on the way into Pittsburgh on the highways, and if we take back roads (ie, a long dirt road being the quickest route) it'll be a BUMPY ride!!! :) ~liz

Sure, Liz! I'll remember that in my prayers for your birth.
