Lower left. It's been bothering him for quite a while. Glad it's through and I hope the matching one comes quickly so we can have a rest for a while.
Noah has made up his own game that's kind of like Bocce ball. He holds one ball in his hand, and then uses it to push another ball out of the way. Then he crawls to the pushed ball and starts again.
As mentioned in the comments to birthday party post, Noah touched the space heater and learned a lesson. This very same day, he opened the broiler door while I was baking cornbread and put his hand right on the inside. Ouch! This time was worse, but we have nearly icy water flowing from the sink, so I ran his hand under that for a little while, and it seems to be fine.
In other news, he has started making "g" sounds, with all sorts of vowels associated. He even does the stereotypical baby, "ga ga." But I think his favorite is "guh."

I guess I spoke too soon. He's very fussy and keeps his hand closed. I finally got a look at it, and his middle and ring fingers do have blisters on them. So please pray. I don't know how I'm going to keep a bandage on his hand.
We put a disposable plastic cup over his hand and under the collar of his shirt, Captain Hook style. This worked well at Christmas, when he cut his hand playing with a soda can.
Makes me think of those dogs you see with the funny head collars...but then again, I already said I'm getting punchy.
One dose of infant's advil before bed helped him get to sleep. I think I'll do another for nap time - he's pretty cranky at the moment. He finally managed to rip off the cup, so I rebandaged and put another cup on. His fingers look a little better, but of course it will take a while to heal competely.
He ripped off the second cup, and now I have one of Jonathan's socks over his hand, with a ponytail holder around his forearm to keep the sock on. It is working much better because he is much happier about it. It still protects his hand, but offers him more freedom of movement.
How is he now? Concerned Grandma seeks update....
This morning Noah's hand looks much better and we took the sock off. Thank you for your prayers!
