I have discovered that Jonathan likes his Cheerios in milk if they don't have time to get soggy. So now we have two bowls at breakfast - one for dry Cheerios and one for milk. Then he puts a few in the milk at at time and eats them with his spoon. He gets a lot of milk that way, too.
The last few days, each day he has drunk more cow's milk than the total previous consumption in his life. Especially yesterday, when Daddy let him put chocolate syrup in some milk after dinner.

Here's a quote from yesterday, "Bandaids get wet in milk. That's funny!"

I was about to say, "Yuck, chocolate milk." Then I wondered, why do I think chocolate milk is gross when it's cold but wonderful when it's hot? Especially if it's 20 degrees out and I've been sledding.

Not quite sure what the reason is, but I have the same taste buds. Hot chocolate I like, cold chocolate milk, I don't. Now that you mention it, I remembered that Jonathan likes his "hot chocolate" cold. I think the main reason is to avoid burning his mouth, or having to wait for it to cool. He eats lots of things cold - if I give him a choice to heat it up or eat it cold, he picks cold.
