One day for dinner I prepared a noodle dish from a toddler-friendly cookbook that was "toddler rated 10 out of 10." I also made asparagus as a side dish. Jonathan loves asparagus and helped me taste test it as I was preparing it. Then at dinner we had to tell him that he had to eat a couple more bites of noodles before he could have more asparagus!!
Jonathan has loved playing with the window fan that's on the floor of the computer room, turning it on and off, standing in front of the breeze, putting a piece of paper in front of it and watching it fly away. On June 28, he discovered that it makes a cool sound if you talk or yell into it!

His new favorite word is "dumpt" - dump sand, dump water, dump marbles, dump trucks that dump things, anything that can be "dumpt."

He can also say "I got it" when retrieving an item that has fallen or rolled away or been thrown across the room.

I'm just curious, which part, all of it, or the asparagus? I thought Dad didn't like asparagus...

Dad loves asparagus, and I finally figured out a way to ask the question he raised about Jonathan and his asparagus adventures in a way that will probably be acceptable on this blog:

See this article, or, if that has just a little more information that you want, this one.

I thought that Dad might ask that question! I did not notice anything in particular.
