So it turns out there is a problem with this plugin - or rather some problem with something with this plugin and php5.2. I am not sure what it is yet, but at least I can duplicate it, so have a shot of fixing it.

Testing yet another plugin, this time, a 'subscribe' plugin, which allows people to subscribe to posts and comments which get sent via email.
