New Words
April 8 - "three" So he can count "one, two, three" now, but often will still stop at two. April 10 - "grass" April 13 - "tea" He can whisper now, and it's cute. Also, "yecch" for dirt and lichen. Yesterday, April 14, was a victory in the middle of the "no" phase. He says and signs "yes!" (More)

Kisses and Sneezes
The other night when it was time to say, "good night" to Daddy, Jonathan kept leaning over for kisses, and once even pursed his lips the right way! The other day, I sneezed and he repeated, "ah-djoo!" This morning, he sneezed, I said, "God bless you" and he repeated, "bess you." (More)

Porch Door, Knock Knock, Whistling

Sick Again - Diagnosis

Jonathan's Recent Activities
He seems to have at least one new word a day now. Sometime before March 24, he said "boots." On March 24 he signed "cheese" and drank some water from a small bathroom cup by himself without crushing the cup to a pulp and without spilling very much. He says water that sounds like "why." Puzzle
This morning Jonathan clearly said, "puzzle." It was not a Mommy-only interpretation, I'm sure. Anyone would have understood it. He likes the musical instrument puzzle, and I think he says "tuba" but that is a Mommy-ears questionable one. (More)

Words and Doings Update
Jonathan says, "shirt" now and yesterday and today he said "undo" when asking us to undo the highchair strap. Running!
I can now definitively say that Jonathan is running. At the Jubilee conference Sunday morning, there were long hallways to explore and he ran down them. It's a very cute toddler run, but it's definitely a run. And he swings his arms in a nice cross-pattern. (More)
