Daley Ponderings
Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy -- meditate on these things.
43 out of 60 for me, so below average as well.
S
Actually, the average is much lower than that: rankings
That was fun! The scary thing is that I was above average (53/60, 88.33%), and I KNOW my knowledge of history, government, and economics is poor.
Unlike in many Internet quizzes, I thought these questions were quite good, with both breadth and depth. Of course, standard multiple-choice strategies always help, but I found many of the wrong answers to be plausible.
S, you did better than all the colleges, including Harvard.
Porter and Jimmy, I expect 100% from you. :)
I got 56. :)
There were about 6 questions where 2 answers seemed plausible, and I guessed correctly on 2, incorrectly on 4, which is worse than random by one for those 6.
42/60 70% I'm rather proud of that. Is it of any interest that most questions were either obvious to me or I had little clue?
I am sorry to disappoint, I missed 3 - so got only 95%. One was REAL embarrassing as it dealt with the Federal Reserve and I have an economics degree. I can only say that I found none of the answers satisfactory -- so I picked the least unsatisfactory. I also know nothing of philosopher kings or the definition of a "just war" in some other philosopher's musings.
And another thought - can I get my score added to the University of Rochester's results to help them avoid their WOEFUL results?
55, go study! I also object to tech schools compared to liberal arts school wrt "value added". No one (well, almost no one) goes to a tech school to learn history so why would you try to compare the two? I also gotta say that I am shocked at how badly liberal arts students do on this test. What is going on at Harvard?
I think I wanna take the quiz again only this time I'll cover the answers and see if I can guess better than ppl at St. Thomas University can answer. :-D ESP!!!!!!
