I had turned down some work the other day, and as I thought about it more, realized that I was ready to hire someone to work for me.  I talked to a dad at church, and he thought it was a good idea, and his son was interested as well.  It turns out that he has less programming experience than I thought, but his dad has been pushing for time that is spent learning basic stuff doesn't have to be paid, so that works out for me...

I think what will happen is when he is able to work on stuff for real customers, he'll get paid, and not when he is playing around to learn how stuff works, (yesterday we took a small perl script and converted it into PHP in order to learn stuff about the two languages, as well as the linux environment (and base 2 arithmetic and logical operations)).

I expect once he is done with school for the summer he will be more useful to Lime Daley.  I hadn't really expected to hire someone for a long time, or even ever, so this is sort of a surprise to me.
