On Tuesday as Jonathan was complaining about walking up the stairs, I said to him "Whiny voices are not pretty, Jonathan." He replied, "Hannah's pretty!"
Today after we cleaned the basement bathroom, Jonathan was hitting his plastic baseball around the room with his plastic bat. Then he'd say, "I made a score!" or "I won!" and come ask me for a hug. I thought that was really sweet and fun. Then after a while of watching and hugging, I realized that he was playing hugball! (That's Grandma/Aunt Linda's Thanksgiving game with my cousins.)

Is it possible?? He's only two... Jonathan is now calling me "Mom" more often than "Mommy." At least can't I still be Mommy until the new baby learns to talk?
