Words and Doings Update
Jonathan says, "shirt" now and yesterday and today he said "undo" when asking us to undo the highchair strap. Children's Museum
Grammy decided that it would be fun to go to the Children's Museum , and boy was she right! This place is so so so so fun. There's so much stuff to do and explore, for ages infant to 100! Dinnertime
Jonathan will now put his hands in ours when it's time to pray before dinner.Tonight we had quiche, and Jonathan worked hard at saying "quiche." He couldn't quite get the initial consonant sound, but he could say "eesh" or "sheesh." (More)

Jonathan has been quite consistently using the "milk" sign, sometimes with both hands! It is a fun game to sign "milk" to each other while he's nursing. You Couldn't Say He Wouldn't Hurt a Fly
Jonathan and I were up on the third floor when the trash truck came by, and he likes to watch, so I brought him to the window. Down Stairs, Hooray!
Jonathan climbed down the stairs all by himself - beginning with turning himself around at the top, which was the limiting factor in his previous attempts. Very soon, I think, we will take the gates away. This success was from the third floor to the second, which has the (more easily)... (More)

Good Kick!
Jonathan is amazingly adept at kicking a ball. We have fun playing "soccer" together, and he usually kicks the ball straighter than I do! He always uses his right foot, and if the ball is not in the right position, he will use his hands to either position it or push it away. (More)

Pulling Up
Jonathan can now climb up me to a standing position! He starts by pushing on my knees, and then grabs my hands. At first I didn't know if it counted, because I didn't know how much I was contributing. But I think he really is doing it. (More)

Crawling! (Creeping!)
