That bottom right canine finally showed itself. Jonathan has had a cold for the past several days, which makes sleeping tough and also diapers. Stuffy/runny nose and diarrhea are no fun for baby or parents. After washing all the diaper covers every day for the past several days, I have decided... (More)

Jonathan got this toy for Christmas. He and the other kids who come over like it a lot. This review will have positives, negatives, and funnies. As a toy, it's fun for kids; as an educational toy, it's not really any good. The box claims all sorts of things, but here are my complaints: The... (More)

When I came into work today there was a copy of the Financial Times , a newspaper I used to read in college but haven't seen in a long time. There was a front page story on John Kerry speaking in Massachusetts yesterday. I found a couple quotes humorous: " Saddam Hussein was a brutal... (More)

Dr.Anderson called and said that Jonathan's lead came back 9.2. That's below their threshold of 10, but still some, so he said to be careful, make sure we wash his toys and keep the rugs vacuumed and watch out where he plays. Jon isn't really satisfied with that and said he'd call him to see... (More)

Wake up at 3AM because you can't sleep. Notice that the shower has not drained from the day before. Plunge the tub to force the water through the slow drain. Eat breakfast and decide that now is as good a time as any. Start ripping up the floor at 4:30AM. Stop to go to church (try to... (More)

The bike ride was tough, and my knees hurt a lot, but I made it the whole way. I decided not to do the "century" ride, 100 miles in the first day, but just did 82 miles the first day, and 68 miles the second day. I had friends that biked also, but mostly, some biked faster, and some biked... (More)

Pittsburgh vehicle drivers need to learn the law. A guy swerved into me on my bike today. I honked at him, but he continued into my path. I yelled at him, and he stopped and got out of his car and made like he was going to do something. He then decided better of it (I guess I must have been... (More)
