I was poking around on Slashdot, a site I used to read regularly, but then decided it was taking too much time. I found an article about Microsoft trying buy a portion of Yahoo, and apparently Yahoo rejected their offer.
Not too exciting, but the interesting part is that the Financial Times quoted a number of sources when writing the article: 4 blogs and 2 previous Financial Times articles.

Maybe the job of a reporter is getting easier; go search the web and copy stuff off of bloggers' sites and paste them into a paper. The blogger likes it because he gets recognition, the editor likes it because there is interesting content in the paper (maybe true or maybe not, but that isn't important...), and the reporter likes it because he can be done with his job by 8:30AM.
