Uh-Oh
When I hear Jonathan say "uh-oh" I need to pay attention. Usually it just means he dropped something on the floor on purpose. But sometimes it's something I need to attend to. Yesterday Jonathan was playing on the counter by the sink and he said "uh-oh" but I did not see anything amiss.... (More)

New Words Every Day
Jonathan said, "book" today when he went to his bookshelf. He read one of his numbers books for quite a long time. He can now say, "bye-bye" also. The occasions when he does it are when the toilet is flushing and when his turtle turns off. He may also say "umbrella" but it is not yet refined. (More)

Signing!
Yesterday, Jonathan signed "more" very clearly and correctly. I rewarded him by fulfilling his request - more dried cranberries from my granola. Christmas Adventures

Jonathan has started saying, "Oops!". He learned that at the progressive dinner where one of the college guys was playing with him, shooting a matchbox car back and forth across the room. Getting off the Bed
In a recent post , I mentioned that our bed is a little too high for Jonathan to comfortably get off by himself.
