I think there are a bunch of places who are doing this, and I just should get the list, but Heather just bought a baby sling from these people. They donate a part of their profit to Judy's Legal Defense Fund.

Rally at Courthouse - June 3

Copied from the Friends of Judy e-list:

We are planning to start gathering at the courthouse at 9 a.m. Please allow extra
time for rush hour traffic in Pittsburgh.

The gathering at the courthouse will be a quiet showing of support. Judy has
requested that we be very respectful in our approach and stay away from negative
attacks on those who are prosecuting her. Please feel free to carry signs of
support for Judy or for protecting the rights of couples to choose where and with
whom they give birth in Pennsylvania. Children may enjoy carrying or wearing signs
that say "Born at Home" or "Helped out by Judy Wilson" or things of that nature.

Also be informed that we are expecting a number of Amish families from local
communities and we ask that you also respect their traditions and desire for a
peaceful demonstration. Please do not take pictures of them or ask them to pose.
They are attending this vigil for the same reason we are - to support Judy and
homebirth midwives in PA.

Please invite anyone you think might be interested in this cause and we encourage
parents to bring their children -- after all, they are really what this is all

Two teeth

Jonathan has two teeth! They are his bottom front ones. The left one came in two Saturdays ago, and the right one last Saturday. We can see them when we look in his mouth now - when he lets us look!

Jonathan is Big

Jonathan had a doctor's appointment today, and he weighed in at 23 pounds, 10 ounces. 27 inches long.
Maybe that is why I sprained my neck yesterday tossing him in the air.

Blogging

Well -- started into the world of blogging. I told Heather today that I had mostly ignored blogs up until now, as I had sort of categorized them as things for people younger than me, and people who use the word "phat" as part of their regular language. But, since I write all the HTML for Isaac's page by hand, I thought I would take a look at this. It seems pretty nifty. I am using pLog, as it was easy to install, and I liked the original layout. It is a little hard to find stuff sometimes, but I have only played with it for a day or so, so presumably it will get better.

VOIP

I thought I would be writing this post to say how great Lingo is, and how you should all sign up for their service. They answer their phone within a couple rings, no matter when I called, and sounded like they would be able to fix any technical problems I had. However, after spending hours on the phone with customer support, I discovered that their customer support (in India, like so many other companies these days) doesn't really know anything, and can hardly speak English. Preliminary Hearing Moved

The preliminary hearing that was originally scheduled for Monday is now pushed back to sometime in June.

Prayer requests:
For the district attorney, Lisa Pellegrini, that she would stop her continual harrassment of Judy, trying to make life difficult for her.
For our family, particularly patience and peace-filled thoughts
For the "Friends of Judy", in their fund-raising efforts, and other decisions/plans
