I have not been too interested in paintings or going to art museums (except I did always like to see the Tiffany glass work.) I will admit that I had my doubts about whether Jonathan would like the Van Gogh bits, simply because I had no appreciation for them myself. (More)

Jonathan loves to watch the garbage truck come down the street and pick up the trash. This morning, we spent 25 minutes standing at the window, watching the world, waiting for the truck, watching the truck, and learning new things. (More)

I don't know a whole lot about the whole reality TV show craze, (I actually haven't seen a single one) but since this is a blog, I feel liberated to spout my views on the subject.

Today's comic in Jon's Dilbert page-a-day calendar has Dogbert saying "Hello, this is Dogbert's All-Natural and Holistic Tech Support. . .Try stuffing tree bark in the CD drive and meditating. . . No, of course it won't damage anything, it's all natural!" (More)

Whether you know the program as Merant, Serena or PVCS, the setup is difficult, and despite the sales department insistence that you don't need a full-time person to run their servers, I am starting to doubt it. Our DSL went down and Jon called me and did a three way with Speakeasy to see what was going on. After trying a couple of things that did not work, Jon mentioned that it was raining, but not lightning. I went to the window to check things out, and I saw a Verizon guy up at the telephone pole. (More)
