Tonight, due to the Steeler's game, the first snowfall, and regular silly commuters, my trip home took an hour and 15 minutes, resulting in an average speed of 3.5 miles an hour.

The last mile and a half took 45 minutes.

Top right poked through yesterday after a biting-the-counter stint.  Got his second shot and barely cried.  Didn't even need to nurse.  What a tough kid!

I usually end up forgetting how to do this, so here are my instructions of how to keep Usermin, an administration tool I use for my Lime Daley customers, up-to-date with the developers' changes. (More)

I am waiting for a hard drive to copy, and so was browsing around the "Sacred Sandwich", and came across these advertisements.  And don't forget the poor teenage pilgrims

A blog I have recently started reading, Following Judah's Lion, had this to say today:

"What person takes one spoonful of the greatest ice cream they’ve ever tasted and puts the spoon down never to taste it again? And what sinner has tasted of the glorious grace of God through Jesus Himself, been forgiven of his sins and had the weight of eternal condemnation lifted from his spirit, only to never desire to drink again from that living fountain?"

The first part of the upper left incisor poked through yesterday, with much fussing, drool (can you say fountain?), and even a little blood.  Note to Mommy: even if you know he's teething, check the diaper anyway.

Just because we were too busy to post does not mean we did not think about Isaac this Thanksgiving.  Tuesday the 21st was his 4th birthday.  At women's Bible study we sang a song about the people of God, the Church, Christ's body - and one phrase reminded me of the support in grief that they were to us in those days and following.  Thanksgining Day itself this year was the anniversary of Isaac's death.  We got a sweet email from Grammy in which she gave thanks for all three of her grandsons.  Other relatives and friends also remembered with us.  I, too, am thankful for my three boys, for the growth in my spirit from the trial of Isaac's death, and for the heightened appreciation, and thus enjoyment, of the lives I am blessed to spend mine with on this earth.

Mike Hall, a guy who works at Microsoft, occasionally has nifty things on his blog.  This one is no exception.  I will have to try it out and see how it feels.

There is a lot of traffic, probably an accident ahead, so we decided to stop for a while, so it probably won't all that much difference.

We borrowed a cell phone and bluetooth adapter from work, so I have internet here.  I was hoping to find a traffic advisory to tell us how far away the accident is, but haven't found anything yet.  The traffic continues to trickle by, so I guess we should get going again.

Jonathan woke up late on his birthday morning and discovered a bouquet of Happy Birthday balloons tied to the foot of his bed. He had a good long drink of mommy milk and then discovered his birthday crown on the sewing table which he put on after dressing in his "wedding clothes." (More)

I found this article at Ed Bott's blog, where it shows some screenshots from a spam control client-server piece of software.  It looks pretty neat -- if you're into that sort of thing.

I was at a small conference last weekend, which I suppose deserves another post entirely, but in summary, God used that conference to stir up and provoke me to love and seek him more.

On these two days, Mr. Alcorn has strayed away from at least what I know as traditional views of Heaven, though granted, I am not a particularly studied scholar on the matter.  I haven't ever heard of an intermediate Heaven, which is different from the future Heaven.  His definition of Heaven, at least for these two chapters is, "The place where God dwells", and he speaks particularly of a "central" dwelling place, given that God is omnipresent. (More)
